Ratio of Shorts vs. Trousers 9:1

Sunscreen (a specific one for you face, ok?)

At least 2 pair of sunglasses. Preferable with a smart case.

Your computer, paper and pens. Lots of pens. Speaking from own experience - when working from Paradise, a paper and a pen can create masterpieces that a computer could never understand. Back to Basics.

Lay out everything you want to bring, then narrow it down and pick the winners. Remember that you can always wash or buy new items at the destination - so bring less.

Master the roll without abandoning the fold. Casual items like T-shirts, jeans, and sweaters can be rolled, while stiffer items like shirts and jackets are easier to fold.

Bag up everything that could spread dirt, explode, or get tangled. This is the most important point on this list. DO REMEMBER.

Pack your carry-on bag wisely, with that said - always travel with a pair of swim shorts, flip-flops and sunglasses in your hand luggage.

Always leave a little bit of room for useful souvenirs.

Bon Voyage!
