The Atelier Collection

Beach Bums launches ‘The Atelier Collection’ in collaboration with Bequia Threadworks.

The Atelier Collection is inspired by the mesmerising allure of Bequia: its laidback attitude, the salty breeze and vibrant ocean. This exclusive line of womenswear weaves a tapestry of style, comfort and empowerment. All styles are made from breathable materials and with flatting cuts and chic comfort in focus.  

For women by women, the first piece in the collection is made in partnership with Bequia Threadworks, a nonprofit sewing enterprise on the island. Founded in 2018, their team of 17 women promote economic freedom and women’s empowerment through employment and training in fashion and manufacturing. As an ethical organisation, Bequia Threadworks is committed to creating opportunities for their team and wider community. Since inception, they provided sewing training to over 160 Bequians.

The Friendship Dress (picture above) was designed by Bequia Beach Bums and manufactured at the Bequia Threadworks Production Centre by their team of artisan seamstresses. This collaboration celebrates the natural synergy between two brands that share a deep appreciation for Bequia, and is a tribute to the bold culture and spirit of the Caribbean. With each purchase from The Atelier Collection, you are contributing to sustainable employment and development within the island community.

The Atelier Collection launches on 15th November, and is a Boutique Exclusivity in Bequia.
